RRB Section Controller CBAT exam date announced: Check complete details here

The Railway Recruitment Board has officially announced the date for the RRB Section Controller Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) 2026. The examination will be conducted on June 6, 2026, for candidates who cleared the earlier CBT stage under Advertisement No. CEN 04/2025.This recruitment drive is being conducted for the position of Section Controller for 368 posts in various railway zones. Now, only those candidates who have been selected after the screening process will be able to participate in the highly significant CBAT Stage-II.

Admit card expected on June 2

The admit card for the RRB Section Controller CBAT 2026 is expected to be released on June 2, 2026, four days before the examination. Candidates will have to use their registration number and password to download the hall ticket from the official portal.Officials have also warned candidates to carefully verify every detail printed on the admit card immediately after downloading it. Any mistake in personal details, examination centre or photograph should be reported to the examination authority without delay.The Section Controller recruitment process includes multiple stages:

The CBAT stage is extremely important because it tests the mental alertness, decision-making ability and aptitude of candidates who may later handle critical railway operations.Candidates who fail to qualify in the CBAT stage will not move further in the recruitment process.
