JEE Advanced 2026 toppers list out: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 results have been announced, with Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi zone emerging as the top-ranked candidate in the Common Rank List (CRL). He secured 330 out of 360 marks and claimed All India Rank (AIR) 1.Among female candidates, Arohi Deshpande of the IIT Delhi zone emerged as the highest-ranked candidate, securing CRL 77 with 280 marks out of 360. A total of 1,79,694 candidates appeared in both papers of the examination, of whom 56,880 qualified for inclusion in various rank lists.

IIT Delhi candidates dominate top ranksThe top three positions in the Common Rank List were secured by candidates from the IIT Delhi zone. Shubham Kumar secured AIR 1 with 330 marks, followed by Kabeer Chhillar with 329 marks and Jatin Chahar with 319 marks.The top 10 list featured four candidates from the IIT Delhi zone, three from IIT Madras and two from IIT Bombay. Mohit Shekher Shukla of IIT Madras secured fourth rank with 319 marks, while Kuchi Sandeep of the same zone secured fifth rank with 318 marks.Female topper secures CRL 77Arohi Deshpande emerged as the highest-ranked female candidate in the examination. She scored 280 marks out of 360 and secured CRL 77.The IIT Delhi zone also produced the top female candidate, while Korukonda Sravya from the IIT Madras zone secured the highest female rank from her zone at CRL 111. Other leading female candidates included Sanvi Patidar from IIT Bombay (CRL 158), Reddi Sai Sahithi from IIT Bhubaneswar (CRL 230), Aashi from IIT Roorkee (CRL 781), Anushka Agrawal from IIT Kanpur (CRL 859) and Agrima Singh from IIT Guwahati (CRL 1857).More than 56,000 candidates qualifyOf the 1,87,389 candidates who registered for the examination, 1,79,694 appeared in both papers. A total of 56,880 candidates qualified. The qualified candidates included 10,107 female candidates.Among all candidates who appeared, 1,39,131 were male and 40,562 were female. The number of qualified male candidates stood at 46,773, while 10,107 female candidates qualified.Chairman highlights eligibility requirementsProf. Kamal Kishore Pant, Director, IIT Roorkee and Chairman, JAB, stated: “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all candidates who have qualified JEE (Advanced) 2026. This achievement is a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. All qualified candidates are encouraged to participate in the JoSAA 2026 counselling and seat-allocation process, irrespective of their Class XII (or equivalent) marks. However, the final admission shall remain subject to the fulfilment of the percentage-related eligibility requirements and other applicable conditions prescribed in the JEE (Advanced) 2026 Information Brochure.”According to the results data, the IIT Madras zone recorded the highest number of qualified candidates at 14,294, followed by IIT Bombay with 12,389 and IIT Delhi with 10,697. The IIT Roorkee zone recorded 5,637 qualified candidates, while IIT Kanpur had 5,552, IIT Bhubaneswar 5,428 and IIT Guwahati 2,883.Zone-wise top five candidatesThe JEE Advanced 2026 results highlight significant regional representation among the highest-ranked candidates. IIT Delhi, IIT Madras and IIT Bombay zones account for several positions in the top ranks, while candidates from IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bhubaneswar and IIT Guwahati also feature prominently among the leading performers from their respective zones.
