The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the final selective edit window for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2026 application form. Candidates who uploaded incorrect or unclear images in their application form can now make corrections through the official website, natboard.edu.in.The correction facility is available till June 10, 2026. During this period, applicants can only edit deficient images such as photograph, signature, and thumb impression. No other details in the application form can be changed.According to NBEMS, candidates must upload images as per the prescribed guidelines. Applications may be rejected if the corrected images are not submitted properly within the given deadline.

Candidates can follow these steps to edit the deficient images in their FMGE 2026 application form:

  1. Visit the official website, NBEMS official portal
  2. Click on the FMGE 2026 application link available on the homepage
  3. Log in using user ID and password
  4. Open the deficient image correction link
  5. Upload the corrected photograph, signature, or thumb impression
  6. Check the uploaded images carefully before submitting
  7. Download and save the confirmation page for future use

FMGE 2026 exam pattern

FMGE 2026 will be conducted in computer-based mode by NBEMS. The examination will include 300 multiple-choice questions divided into two sections — Part A and Part B — with 150 questions in each part.Candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete each section. The total exam duration will be five hours. The question paper will be available only in English.Under the marking scheme, candidates will receive one mark for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. To qualify the exam, candidates must score at least 150 marks out of 300.
