Reportedly, her shapewear brand is under scrutiny as a delivery truck loaded with SKIMS clothing was caught by the authorities on charges of a multimillion-dollar cocaine smuggling attempt. According to the U.K.’s National Crime Agency, the Polish truck driver convicted in the matter has been sentenced to more than 13 years in prison. Reports state that authorities have estimated the value of the drugs at 7.2 million euros, or roughly $8.4 million. In this matter, Kim Kardashian’s brand SKIMS has broken the silence. In a statement given to USA Today and TMZ, the brand representative has denied any connection to the smuggling operation. The brand also mentioned they had nothing to do with the truck or the driver, either.

Here’s the official statement released by SKIMS:

“SKIMS is aware of the recent news involving a shipment with our products. We want to be absolutely clear: SKIMS had no knowledge whatsoever about this criminal activity. We had no connection to the smuggling operation, the driver, or the truck.”

On September 5, 2025, Border Force officers stopped the SKIMS’ delivery vehicle at the Port of Harwich in Essex. It was carrying 28 pallets of SKIMS products. According to the National Crime Agency, X-ray scanning was used to detect irregularities, which unveiled the compartment built into the rear doors. This compartment was said to have 90 packages of cocaine, weighing about two pounds each, concealed. As the investigation proceeded, tracking data came to light that identified a 16-minute stop, about which the suspect did not report during questioning.
