Adnan Sami reacts to trolling over meeting RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat: ‘I don’t give a s**t what anybody thinks’

Singer Adnan Sami has never shied away from speaking his mind, and the musician has once again addressed the trolling surrounding him with complete honesty. Recently, Adnan’s meeting with RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat sparked reactions online, with several social media users criticising the singer. Now, in a recent conversation, Adnan said he no longer cares about public judgment and believes people are too quick to form opinions without knowing the truth.Speaking to News18, Adnan admitted that controversy has often followed him throughout his life. “Never a dull moment in my life,” he remarked while speaking about the constant scrutiny he faces.

‘I am not answerable to anybody but God’

Reacting to the backlash over his meeting with Mohan Bhagwat, Adnan said, “I am a free soul and, thankfully, I have lost all my filters also, so I do what I feel like, and I am not answerable to anybody but God.”The singer added that he does not judge people based on public perception or hearsay. “If somebody is nice to me, I will be nice to them no matter who they are. I will never judge anyone on the basis of someone else’s opinion. Certainly, I won’t judge anybody if I don’t know anything about them,” he said.

‘People think they know me from one photograph’

Adnan further expressed frustration over how quickly people form opinions on social media. According to him, many trolls create assumptions about his personality without truly knowing him.“I mean, they think they know, and on the basis of their superficial, majorly false impression of me, they jump to conclusions. The little exposure they get from a single photograph or a song of mine, if they think they can pass judgment on who I am and what I am, then they are sadly living in a fantasy land,” he shared. The singer also emphasised that his decisions are always carefully thought through. He explained that his life experiences, global exposure, and educational background have shaped his perspective and the choices he makes.

Adnan Sami blames social media culture for instant judgment

Blaming social media culture for encouraging quick reactions and assumptions, Adnan said people today rarely take the effort to understand someone before criticising them. He revealed that he has now stopped worrying about public opinions because he no longer sees any value in it.Finishing his point, the singer concluded, “I am very liberated in my mind that I am going to do whatever I want to do, and I have set boundaries for everyone else. Most of the people who troll you are not your fans; they are just out there.”
