Telangana Law and PG Law Common Entrance Test: The TG LAWCET 2026 and TG PGLCET 2026 examinations will be conducted on Monday, May 18, across multiple centres in Telangana. Thousands of candidates seeking admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB courses as well as LLM programmes are expected to appear for the entrance tests. According to the official schedule, the TG LAWCET 3-year LLB examination will be held in two shifts, from 9.30 am to 11 am and from 12.30 pm to 2 pm. Meanwhile, the TG LAWCET 5-year LLB examination and TG PGLCET for LLM admissions will be conducted from 4 pm to 5.30 pm. The entrance examinations will be conducted in English and Telugu or English and Urdu for TG LAWCET candidates, while TG PGLCET will be held only in English.
TG LAWCET and TG PGLCET 2026: Qualifying marks
For TG LAWCET 2026, candidates must secure at least 35% marks, which means 42 marks out of 120, to qualify in the entrance examination. However, no minimum qualifying marks have been prescribed for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. For TG PGLCET 2026, candidates need a minimum of 25% marks, or 30 out of 120, to qualify. Here too, SC and ST candidates are exempted from minimum qualifying marks.Merely qualifying in the examination will not guarantee admission. Candidates must participate in counselling, apply during the admission process, and meet all eligibility conditions prescribed by the authorities.
TG LAWCET and TG PGLCET 2026: Answer key and result date
The preliminary answer key for both TG LAWCET and TG PGLCET 2026 will be released on May 23. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the provisional key till May 25. As per the official information brochure, the results of TG LAWCET and TG PGLCET 2026 are expected to be announced tentatively on June 6, 2026.

- A new login window will appear on the screen.
