From iconic songs like ‘Ek Do Teen’, ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga’, and ‘Dola Re Dola’ to unforgettable films, Madhuri has left an enduring mark on Indian cinema. Madhuri Dixit loved her homemaker routine

In an earlier conversation on Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, Madhuri spoke warmly about her daily life in the United States. “I used to make breakfast for my husband when he was in cardiovascular surgery. I used to wake up at 5:30, make breakfast for him, of course, he used to leave for work and I used to go back to sleep for some time. I savoured every minute of it.” The actress explained that she genuinely enjoyed this phase of her life. It remains one of her most relatable and cherished reflections.

Four Decades In Cinema

In 2024, Madhuri celebrated 40 years in the entertainment industry during a fan meet in the United States organized by Shreya Gupta and Atique Sheikh. At the event, she looked back on her close association with Rajshri Productions and filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya. She recalled, “Rajshri Productions introduced me to the world of cinema. My first film, Abodh, was with them, and back then, Sooraj Barjatya was an assistant director who handled scene continuity. When Sooraj ji approached me with the script for Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, I was astonished by how much he had evolved. By then, he had already directed ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’.”Released in 1994 and co-starring Salman Khan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! became the highest-grossing Indian film of the year.Madhuri was last seen in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’.
