SCERT Haryana releases D.El.Ed. counselling dates for 2026 diploma education admissions process

Haryana D.El.Ed. admission 2026: Haryana D.El.Ed. admissions for the 2026-28 session are underway, with the online registration and fee payment window closing today, May 11, 2026. The Diploma in Education course is open to candidates from Haryana and outside the state through the centralised online admission process conducted by SCERT Haryana, Gurugram.Candidates can complete the application process through dedharyana.org or the council website SCERT Haryana. Authorities have stated that applicants must select at least five institutions while submitting the form. The registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.Application process and counselling scheduleThe registration fee is Rs 500 for General category candidates and Rs 275 for SC, BC, EWS and differently abled candidates. Payments can be made through debit card, credit card and net banking for Axis Bank account holders. Service charges of 1.75 per cent will apply on card transactions, while net banking transactions will not attract additional charges.The first round admission list will be released on May 13, 2026 at 3 pm. Candidates will be able to download provisional admit letters between May 13 and May 14. Students allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between May 15 and May 16 for confirmation of admission.Eligibility criteria for candidatesApplicants seeking admission to D.El.Ed. must have secured at least 50 per cent marks in Senior Secondary examination with five subjects, including English, from the Board of School Education Haryana or an equivalent board. Candidates belonging to SC, BC and differently abled categories are eligible for a relaxation of five per cent marks. Applicants must also have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at matric level.For D.El.Ed. Urdu admissions, candidates must have passed Urdu in Class 10 from a recognised board equivalent to the Haryana board. Authorities have clarified that candidates must fulfil all eligibility conditions by the last date of counselling.Fee structure and academic sessionThe annual fee for self-financed institutions in Haryana has been fixed at Rs 25,800, excluding examination charges. Regular first-year classes for the 2026-28 session will commence from July 1, 2026.
